PLANET ANNE
ART & ADVENTURES
PRAGUE
Prague was indeed old world/ fairytale/ Hogwarts/ slightly creepy/ mysterious/ stunning and everything else everyone said it would be. But the journey there deserves its own little story. The trip started off with a 2-hour delay out of Heidelberg. A lot better than 5, I thought. I changed trains in Munich, and just as I was about to board the Prague-bound train, I had an odd feeling something was going to be funky about the trip.
Welcome!
Why Planet Anne? Since I was quite young, my brain has had a habit of drifting off into a mysterious place where no one else can seem to reach me until I’m brought back to earth by a startling “ANNE!” I’ve been told it usually takes a few tries. Annoyed as she was by this at times, my mom affectionately named this imaginary land Planet Anne.
Though trips to Planet Anne have sometimes been involuntary and occurred at inconvenient times, I have learned to better control my visits as I’ve grown up. I now use it as a place to rest, disconnect, and seek creativity. Sometimes nothing at all happens there. It’s quite peaceful. But at other times, it’s a whirlwind of ideas and inspiration. In fact, I have Planet Anne to thank for the creative beginnings of most of the content on this site. I hope you enjoy!
